Question: I tried reading the book of Deuteronomy which is the laws that God gave to the Israelites. I found the laws so distasteful that I asked God if these were really from Him and why these laws were as such.

God’s answer:

The insight that came to me is that the Israelites, being enslaved for 400 years, became assimilated to the Egyptian ways and followed the Egyptian laws and customs. The laws spelled out in the book of Deuteronomy revised these laws and practices. It was the beginning of God’s work to begin changing their ways and moral codes.

To confirm that my understanding was right, God gave me a sculpture:

A book: Mosaic Law

Peace and Order

I was a co-author. This is archaic.

IV. Questions about Christ’s teachings

Question: What does this teaching really mean?

You have heard how it was said: Eye for eye and tooth for tooth. But I say this to you: offer no resistance to the wicked. On the contrary, if anyone hits you on the right cheek, offer him the other as well. Matthew 5:38-29

God’s answer:

You have no swollen ego.

Meaning: In this teaching, God was referring to our ego. When someone slaps us in the face (insults or offends us), we seek to avenge (hit back) because our ego has been bruised. This is the real motivation behind the need to get back at someone. Revenge is not about justice but a display of arrogance and conceit. God gave me the word preponderance to describe the term, swollen ego. Preponderance means "superiority in weight, power, importance, or strength"19.
